Harly (Professor Caxixi in Capoeira) and Jessica ( Instructora Tempestade in Capoeira) are a passionate and energetic husband and wife duo on a mission to make fitness fun, inclusive, and accessible for everyone! They believe movement is more than just exercise—it's a powerful tool to have a great time, build strength, and boost confidence at any age or skill level.
With a diverse background in strength training, bodyweight movement, plyometrics, martial arts, acrobatics, and conditioning, they bring a creative and dynamic approach to every class and training session. They give their maximum effort to bring movement, health, and happiness to the community, always aiming to uplift, inspire, and connect through fitness.

Jessica (AKA Instrutora Tempestade in Capoeira) brings over a decade of experience training individuals of all ages and fitness levels. With certifications in both Zumba, Capoeira, Strength and Conditioning, she is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment where participants feel empowered to reach their goals through effective, personalized programs.
With a background deeply rooted in the fitness industry, Tempestade developed a strong foundation in movement and strength from an early age. Her fitness journey has grown alongside her dedication to the Art of Capoeira. She has performed in numerous demonstrations throughout the Indianapolis area and competed in a national Capoeira competition in Seattle. Her passion has led her to travel across the United States to deepen her understanding of Capoeira and its rich cultural history.
Currently, Jessica leads group fitness classes and teaches Capoeira Fundamentals, sharing her love for movement while inspiring students to embrace their physical and mental potential. She lives by the philosophy that consistency, hard work, and focusing on what you can control are essential for long-term success. Her approach to fitness is centered on empowerment—helping individuals build strength, confidence, and a positive relationship with their bodies.

Harly (AKA Professor Caxixi in Capoeira), originally from Venezuela, brings over 24 years of Capoeira experience and more than a decade of teaching expertise. He has been committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and community-driven environment where students support each other like family. His teaching emphasizes teamwork, personal growth, and the joy of movement.
A passionate advocate for Capoeira and its cultural roots, Professor Caxixi has led workshops and demonstrations across Indiana in schools, gyms, dance studios, and universities—including Butler University and IPS #84—reaching hundreds of participants of all ages. He has performed in thousands of cultural events nationwide and internationally, sharing not only Capoeira but also traditional Brazilian arts like Maculelê, Samba de Roda, and Puxada de Rede.
Caxixi currently leads adult Capoeira classes and continues to grow the local Capoeira community through classes, events, and his podcast, The Capoeira Experience. His mission is to inspire others through Capoeira, building strength, connection, and a positive impact on mental and physical health.

Assistant Capoeira Instructor, Adult + Kids
Audrey Woika - also known in the Capoeira community as “Colorida”. Started Capoeira in December 19, 2019. She fell in love with Capoeira since her first Open House Community Class, and travels around the USA to expand and explore knowledge within the Capoeira community. Audrey enjoys watching the kids learn how to move in new ways and learn skills that will help them in capoeira or any other physical activity. Accomplishing their own milestones helps build their self confidence that will help them in all aspects of life. Audrey believes that capoeira helps kids learn how to interact with people of all ages and helps their creativity grow. She is excited to help build the next generation of capoeiristas along with Professor Caxixi and Instructora Tempestade here in Indianapolis.
Relâmpago
Assistant Capoeira Instructor, Adult Classes
Cecily Stilley - also known as Relâmpago in the Capoeira community. She started in Capoeira in 2017, and after a small break she restated her Capoeira journey under Professor Caxixi in 2019 who she attributes all of her real growth to, also traveling around the USA to expand her knowledge and experience within the Capoeira community. Relâmpago loves teaching the basics because truly believes that having a true foundation will help to build up your skills and confidence within yourself. “If you can do the basics, you can do anything!” Relâmpago also love working on back bends and has a lot of fun doing them, because they are cool, and she strongly believes that they are totally doable.
